The Birch Acquarium is one of San Diego's hidden treasures. Although I've lived in San Diego for most of my adult life, I had never been to the Scripps aquarium until this past year. My son went on a field trip to the acquarium and I decided to drive my son and a few other children to the event. I don't know who had more fun- me or the kids. It's a beautiful acquarium. The shark tanks are especially exciting. It's a great place for families.
