I never really understood why everyone in San Diego couldn't stop talking about this place. I live and work in Carlsbad, so I'm never really around either location. But a friend dragged me there for coffee and dessert last Friday night, and ... now I get it. I don't even remember the name of the dessert we split because there were about 7 different ingredients all intertwined in one master-piece of cake. Something along the lines of white chocolate, carmel, coconut cheesecake. My friend and I split a piece and it was more than enough to satisfy my sweet tooth for days (and that's a big deal.)
