Review of Pacific Law Center

Do NOT be fooled by the commercials! I came here because I kept seeing the ad on TV, but this place was the biggest rip off. Please save your money and do not come to this law firm. They made me all kinds of promises before I signed up and none of them came through. I literally LOST $5500. They promised me a reduction in fines, no probation along with other promises which never came true. I payed the full fine of the court, lost my license and got 5 years probation. And Pacific Law Center literally didn't do anything! I even called back trying to get a small reimbursement since they didn't do anything to help my case and I was denied. Please save your money and go else where from this lousy and grossly over priced services.

I went for a consultation to check the place out and so that they can review my DUI case. Of course they were located in a beautiful office building in la jolla. When I arrived they made me fill out paper work, all it asked was info on employment, bank accounts and if I give them permission to automatically take funds from my checks. Immediately I realized they were all about money. Yet, I continued with the consultation. I never met with a lawyer, just a RUDE legal assistant that was upset I left the portion of the paperwork asking for my employment and bank info empty. He questioned my ability to pay for the service and how much I could put down right away. I asked him how much a case like mine (1st offense) usually comes out costing. He responded. "Well I don't know anywhere from $4,500-$10,000..... but we're not getting started without some form of agreement or down payment." What an A--hole, how can he possibly speak to a potential client that way. I left and never plan to return. My money will never go to those rude selfish people.

Anytime you have to face legal problems, it's hard enough to simply deal with that issue at hand, it's also the stress of actually finding a decent lawyer to help the situation.I went there and was first able to speak with some sort of legal assistant, who was really there just to gather some basic facts. That's cool; I knew I wasn't going to actually SEE a lawyer during what I call a "feeling out process". Simply it's someone getting the facts about the situation, than presenting them to the actual lawyer. Some mentioned "strong arm tactics", perhaps, but I didn't see this at all.The process was fine, and when I was able to speak to the lawyer, it now made sense that they have I guess a pre-screening, as the lawyer already knew something about my case.Well ends up that I had a whole lot of rights that I didn't know about - so that made me feel better. Ended up going to court and was very pleased with the outcome.

Review of Pacific Law Center

Think twice before using PLC. Obviously they advertise more than any other law firm, which influenced me to retain their services. I am sharing my nightmare experience as a paying client of PLC to hopefully provide a well rounded perspective for other people. Legitimate concerns: extremely poor customer service; you’re stuck with dealing with numerous inexperienced paralegals because the attorneys will give you very little face time; serious internal paperwork errors that could have been avoided; hard to get returned phone calls; and most appallingly many firm associates/attorneys act like they are doing you a favor & have serious attitude problems. I say this because as a business that services the public, Pacific Law Center has no idea on how to provide good customer service to paying clients. There are lots of other legal options out there. I wished that I had researched my options more thoroughly instead of relying on a TV commercial.
