Viejas is the only San Diego area casino that seems to do everything fairly well. They have reasonably interesting entertainment, good service, and, of course, gaming. For the gambler, Viejas offers oodles of slots & table games, excellent poker, and the best tournaments around for all of the above. They do serve alcohol, making this more of an adult spot then Barona. Meanwhile, the outlet mall makes it a more interesting location for families with children or non-gamblers. This is not Las Vegas, but it is the best facsimile within 45 minutes of San Diego. Review added by Dr. rivers

My husband always drags me to Viejas for weekend gambling trips. I don't enjoy gambling much, so it isn't usually a very pleasant experience for me, but they do have a great buffet. Review added by Maryann Wright

   Took advantage of there radio ad, pay for a buffet with your card and get it for only $7.96, Save your receipt and take it to the booth to get $5.00 players credit, they did not give it to me when I showed the receipt and the girl Karen would not give it back to me. They defrauded me, and thought nothing of it, because of there tribal law. They like our money but only use there laws that don't protect us. Beware. We are also persuing all legal remedies to get this resolved.
