Viejas is the only San Diego area casino that seems to do everything fairly well. They have reasonably interesting entertainment, good service, and, of course, gaming. For the gambler, Viejas offers oodles of slots & table games, excellent poker, and the best tournaments around for all of the above. They do serve alcohol, making this more of an adult spot then Barona. Meanwhile, the outlet mall makes it a more interesting location for families with children or non-gamblers. This is not Las Vegas, but it is the best facsimile within 45 minutes of San Diego.

My husband always drags me to Viejas for weekend gambling trips. I don't enjoy gambling much, so it isn't usually a very pleasant experience for me, but they do have a great buffet.
